Could someone tell me how do you do this and/or where do you get them from? Is it also possible to do so in an ordinary e-mail? Cheers mukesh |

| 83165 | 2002-09-25 21:50:00 | Ramu, When you type in a new message, just above the message box there's four options: Formatting Options, Emoticons, Quote original, and Original post (below. Click on the one called Emoticons and a new window should open with all the Happy and Sad faces available on the forum, and it'll tell you how to type them in the message to have them displayed. | 83166 | 2002-09-25 23:10:00 | MIKE:- Got as far as seeing the list of Emoticons, but couldn't see how to use them. Tried to scroll farther down, on r.h.side of this screen.....but then Emoticons disappear. If this is my biggest problem of the day.....can't be bad!! |

| 83168 | 2002-09-25 23:20:00 | The emoticons list shows you what the combinations of Colon : and similar keys will produce, easiest to highlight the code beside them and copy - paste to your reply. If you type : ) (I left a space so it wont be changed to a smiley face) you will get this :) They will pop under the current page when you click elsewhere, but their page will still be on the taskbar |

But I'll have to go in to FAQ's to learn about "cut and paste" and the other "paste"..whatever it was. You guys are great...Will send meaningful messages later,.....WITH emoticons, after I've finished drawing in the dust that is accumulating while I fight with this (becoming TOTAL).....ADDICTION. |
