| 83068 | 2002-09-25 09:38:00 | I've got windows ME and yesterday a new drive letter appeared in the My Computer folder saying " D:/ Compact Disc" which doesn't exist. I entered into the Device Manager and under Cd-rom, there is there a new line saying "Image Simulation". Is There any way to get rid of this? Any help will be Grateful.. |

This type of software fools programs into thinking that you have the CD in the CD-Rom drive and they happily carry on regardless. Great for speeding things up and saves wear on tear on your CD-Rom drive and the CD itself from damage. Have you installed anything recently that might be doing something like this? | Rod J (451) | ||
