I have thru the text size options. All that does is change the text size for E-mails I am sending. No effect on incoming.
Have also explored all options thru Internet Explorer , Outlook Express and what have you.

82952 2002-09-26 22:12:00 The only place I can find in my OE 5 . 5 to change font sizes is in Tools>Options>Compose .

The fonts there are for composing emails but I wonder if they have anything to do with printing also? Might be worth checking to see what they are set at anyway - they might be on the high side .

Failing that, maybe you could try a repair or reinstall?

82953 2002-09-27 02:07:00 Thank you Susan B.

I have already checked out your suggestion. The set up is Arial 10 point as it has been for ages.

82954 2002-09-27 02:28:00 There is a heap of info on this on the web .

Basically OE uses the last printer to be used even if you have changed printers .

I believe this is being controlled by Internet Explorer .

Close Outlook Express and then Open IE now go to the menu bar View > Text Size and change it to something different then what it is set at now . I would suggest changing it to a size that is two sizes differnt from the current one for testing purposes .

Now open OE and print an mail and see if it is different .

If no help, use Google with subject words like printing font outlook express

82955 2002-09-27 02:33:00 OK well the print font size apparently is tied up with Internet Explorer, so go there and in View>Text Size select a smaller font, click OK.

Now- this might be the important bit - close both IE and OE and reopen OE and try printing again.

You may need to increase the font size for Internet Explorer after printing your e-mails, to make it easier to read. To make it easier to switch the font size, right click on the menu bar, select Customize and place the Size icon to appear on your menu bar.

If the problem still exists then set both text sizing parameters in OE and IE the same and try again. Apparently sometimes they don't work in unison.
