| 83229 | 2002-09-25 23:42:00 | In Outlook, Tools - Option - Other. A tick box there for making Outlook the default e-mail program. Baldy, there is no connection between Outlook Express and Outlook. Outlook is a component of MS Office, and not free. Outlook is a full Calendar, Diary, Contact manager plus email. Its quite good, and in my mind far superior to Outlook Express. For what it is, OE is an obtuse little program that is far more difficult than it needs to be in my mind. I have never figured out why people use it, other than it came with the computer and they don't know any others. Try Eudora if you want elegance and simplicity!. |

| 83230 | 2002-09-25 23:46:00 | Outlook has many additional features and options and is generally not the best option for home users because of the complications these additional features can cause . To set as default With Internet Explorer open select Tools/Internet options Select Programs Tab In the Email box select the mail client you want to use . |
