| 83649 | 2002-09-27 00:47:00 | When i am trying to run more than one WORD document at the same time and would like to use ALT/TAB to switch between documents, I only get one doc indication in the ALT/TAB window. If I reduce the windows, I can find the minimised running docs indicated at the bottom of the screen. Anyone any ideas as to how I can have all WORD documents shown separately in the ALT/TAB window. | 83652 | 2002-09-27 02:16:00 | Word 97 does not open separate instances of word for each document, so you can't alt+tab You have to goto window>%documentname% Word 2000 creates a separate instance for eac doc so you can alt+tab. Word XP gives you the option to decide how you want it to work. G P |

| 83658 | 2002-09-27 04:49:00 | Gary, You'll find that Ctrl+F4 will work much the same as Alt+F4, but instead of closing the application, it'll just close the document. So Ctrl+F4 to close the document (and switch to the next one) Ctrl+F6 to just switch to the next document without closing. Mike. |
