| 83538 | 2002-09-26 11:23:00 | i have had this installed on two win98se systems(comes bundled in nimo codec pack) and it totally locks up the system every time you got to play movie (wmp and zoomplayer) tried the new alpha ver this morning which works well enough. i think the divx 5 codec handles divx5 content far better. however i tried to play a game and it spat out an error "no d3d found". directX wouldn't run so i uninstalled ffdshow and all was ok. something to look for if you have installed a codec pack and media won't play. :_| |

| 83539 | 2002-09-26 22:34:00 | I'm having trouble - just playing video (audio no problem). Both DVD and DivX the system locks up for about 2 or 3 minutes (XP just seems to get out of it somehow :)) I dunno what it is though, cuase I don't have the nimo codec pack. I'm probably going to do a reformat at sometime soon and see if it still happens. Mike. |

| 83540 | 2002-09-26 22:35:00 | Forgot to add - sometimes the lock up is before the video loads, then once the freeze stops it'll play... sometimes it plays fine, but then freezes when I try to quit the application. Mike. |
