| 83496 | 2002-09-26 10:12:00 | Hi I was just wondering where can I find this file "system information.ink" cause one of my friends computer is missing this file. By the way is it possible, if I send my "system information.ink" to him and replace his missing one? I hope you know what I mean... :( If it's not possible is there an easier way of replacing the file instead of reformating. Computer: Win98, IE 4, IBM Thanks alot :) Jase Sen |

| 83497 | 2002-09-26 10:44:00 | Jase1, The file in question is msinfo32.exe which is pointed to by the System Information.LNK file. So you could create a new link to the msinfo32.exe and call that System Information. The exe in question should be in %SYSTEMDISK%\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe where %SYSTEMDISK% points to your system partition (where Windows98 is loaded). Babe. |
