| 84588 | 2002-10-02 00:41:00 | win98 dosn't really have admin as such. i think you need to discribe your problem a lot better. eg what are you trying to do? how are you doing it? specs of pc? error message? i know you can get a simaler message when certainreg keys are missing but that all depends on what you are trying to do. |

It sounds like this system has a policy applied to it, probably using Microsofts' Policy Editor (Poledit). You can check to see if a policy is in place using Poledit.
