| 84528 | 2002-09-29 16:46:00 | If you are thinking of downloading the service pack 1 for IE6, -available from 'Windows update'- don't be fooled by the info Microsoft gives that it is a 400 odd K, 2 minute download. once it has started you get about 15 MB that takes 2 hours to download at 56K. | 84529 | 2002-09-29 22:48:00 | I do believe that it actually tells you during the setup program that it'll take a while, and how big it is. It should even give you the option of saving the download so you can install it later (on Win 9x at least - wasn't given that option on XP). Mike. |

| 84530 | 2002-09-29 23:13:00 | That is correct Mike. Think the download only takes a short time, but the install much longer. I usually do those type downloads when I am going to have dinner or mow the lawns, or something time consuming |
