| 84602 | 2002-09-30 09:51:00 | Ri-i-i-i-ght then, these suggestions are very good. :-) Starting from the top: godfather, why won't a new PC need amplified speakers? I plan to get a sound card rather than get or use onboard sound. I would expect amplified speakers to cost more than non-amps so would I be wasting my money getting that kind if I'm not going to need amps for my new PC? Or will it still be an advantage having them? Graham: I don't think I'll be able to find a rubber band big enough. :D Alan: Another trip to Harvey Norman coming up... thanks for that. I have got a portable ghetto blaster that I could rig up to use the speakers. Only trouble is, the wires from its speakers to the player are just that: wires, four of them on each speaker. It has two CD out sockets (left and right) and a DC in socket. No idea what they are for though. Perhaps I had better take it to a shop and ask them to fit me up with something to connect it up to the speaker socket. I'll be able to plug the headphones into that when I need to then. :D |

Can people go senile at age 29? Anyway, thanks JM, that did the trick - I've got my muzik back! :x What would you like? | 84605 | 2002-09-30 11:46:00 | mmm Vanilla Coke is the best. It will go well with that chocolate fish. Talking about Coke. I tried some normal Coke after drinking nothing but the Vanilla variety for the past two weeks. It was a major shock to the system :O |
