In Internet Explorer, click Tools, then Internet Options Under Temporary Internet Files, Click Settings Click View Objects Find msn Chat Control, right click it and select Remove Click OK to any warning Close the Downloaded Programs window that opened Click OK to close all other boxes Close down all instances of Internet Explorer, then try to go back to the chat room, you should get the "Downloading Chat" dialogue, wait a few mins and you should be all go. | 84788 | 2003-11-25 00:57:00 | I have the same issue with www.biggie.co.nz and www.astrahosting.com/chat. i.e. I get a window with nothing in it except a little white box with a red X in top left corner. Your fix looked promising until I clicked 'View Objects'. At this point another window opened and here I had problems finding anything that resembled a 'Chat Control'. Am I looking in the correct place? Any furthur suggestions would be appreciated. | Randori (2091) | ||
