| 84811 | 2002-09-30 11:23:00 | After reading some well-intentioned advice concerning PC Pitstop I decided I would check out my PC out of curiosity. After having done so all Hell has broken loose, i.e. changing browser settings, curser blinking like a kaleidescope and sticking, and very very slow page downloads. I went back a second time, got a very poor report, tried all the auto fixes etc, and got a very poor report. Am running Win 98, 128 mg ram, 500. Any suggestions as to my woes. |

| 84813 | 2002-09-30 13:46:00 | Hi... Used PCPitStop twice, with no problems, (Win98SE, 256MB Ram, 500 AMD-K6) and as tweak'e suggests, read the instruction carefully. Maybe the keyboard or mouse was touched during the scan, incorrect dialog ticks (eg. Modem speed) or one of the roaming pop ups was accidently clicked, invading your PC... Cheers... |
