84612 2002-09-30 04:19:00 I'm probably a bit slow, and you probably all already know this, but if you install Windows XP SP1 you don't need to seperately install SP1 for IE6, as it is included in XP SP1. I guess this will save me a 12mb download now :)

here's the bit from the WindowsUpdate Corporate site:

Windows XP Service Pack 1 (Network) - (Posted Date: September 26, 2002)
Download size: 133.9 MB
Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) provides the latest security, reliability, and performance updates to the Windows XP family of operating systems. Windows XP SP1 is designed to ensure Windows XP platform compatibility with newly released software and hardware, and includes updates to resolve issues discovered by customers or by Microsoft's internal testing team. Windows XP SP1 includes Internet Explorer 6 SP1.

133.9MB must be great if you are like me and have lowly dial-up internet

84616 2002-09-30 04:38:00 It didn't take too long on dial-up. But you need a download manager to do it, as I had a few disconnects during that time (for various reasons).
