For no obvious reason at all, ie I wasn't fiddling with anything, my Word 97 has lost all its true type fonts and only lists three 'device fonts'. I'm running Word on a XP home machine. Can anyone suggest where to start looking to uncover the fonts? |

First of all you need to determine if the fault is only with Word 97 or any Windows program that uses true type fonts. Can you select various fonts OK in say, Windows Wordpad? In the Control Panel can you browse your fonts by clicking on the Fonts applet? |

Do you have a printer installed and selected, as Word may only show fonts that can be printed. |
