85041 2002-10-01 10:21:00 My stepdad is a musician and recently bought a Sony NetMD MiniDisc player when he was in the US recently.

So now he's recorded some music of his and would like them burnt to CD. Only thing is that from what I can tell. It is not possible to do this unless I go line out -->> line in.

When I try to do it via the USB cable it won't let me check it in (or was it out).

The software that it uses is OpenMG which has some built in anti-piracy measure.

I hope there is some other way to do this.

85042 2002-10-01 10:22:00 I spose I might as well ask what a good program for recording and editing sound on a computer is. -=JM=- (16)
85043 2002-10-01 10:31:00 JM,

I use CoolEdit Pro (CoolEdit 2000) from Syntrillium (http://www.syntrillium.com/), bought it a year back and use it a lot in my 'spare' time!

85044 2002-10-01 10:32:00 Line in / out is probably your best bet.

For good cheap cough wave editing, Goldwave is fast, and Cooledit may do ya too.

85045 2002-10-01 11:39:00 Would be much nicer if they'd just let us get stuff off the discs :( -=JM=- (16)
85046 2002-10-01 22:34:00 I've used goldwave (www.goldwave.com)
its great, but dont forget to get multiquence while you're there!

85047 2002-10-01 22:49:00 After some googling it would appear that it is impossible to upload from the NetMD to the PC.

But there is a 2,000 *signature* petition.
