| 84946 | 2002-10-01 06:47:00 | I run Win 98, OE6, Norton 2002. Only recently on receiving *.wdb attachments via OE6, I get a message across the top of the message " OE Removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail:" Followed by file name and file extension. I am not the only recipient of these data base files and know they are virus checked prior to being sent to me. Please, how do overcome the problem? Thanks. |

| 84947 | 2002-10-01 06:53:00 | Tools - Option - Security Untick the option to prevent openong of files that could carry a virus. Its nothing to do with the files having been scanned or not. It will remove access to all "potential" virus carriers. PLEASE update your virus definitions today though, the new W32/bugbear@mm virus is all over, and definitions only came out last night. |

| 84948 | 2002-10-01 06:55:00 | Go to Tools | Options | Security tab and then uncheck the "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened ....." But be very careful when opening future attachments (even from people you know) as there are some nasty viruses around. |
