| 84943 | 2002-10-01 06:13:00 | Opened an attachment that I thought was safe, it wasn't! am stuck with 2 EXEs namely OQG & JOCJ (Google's not heard of them) Please explain to an 'old thicko' how to expunge them ... Running '89SE & IE6 SP1 They've caused a bit of havoc, scrubed the AV (Panda Platinum) & JOCJ wants to access the 'net, can't 'untick' OQG from 'start menu', it's back on reboot, don't want to 'format' & am unexperienced in DOS. | 84944 | 2002-10-01 06:21:00 | It may well be the "new" virus W32/Bugbear@mm This sends itself to every email address it can find on your system. To remove, the instructions are here (vil.mcafee.com) Its very new, antivirus updates out today. It creates file executables with random characters. |
