| 85467 | 2002-10-02 20:36:00 | How can I get away from the Y / N request when I want to Del the contenys of a floppy in A Drive. Im using Del a:\*.* Thanks |

| 85468 | 2002-10-02 21:18:00 | You could try del a:\*.* /q That puts it into quiet mode and shouldn't ask you Y/N. Type del /? to get a list of other switches you can use. |

| 85472 | 2002-10-04 03:19:00 | why not [pre]deltree /y a:\[pre]? | Graham L (2) | ||
| 85473 | 2002-10-04 04:04:00 | Surely you dont want to go back to DOS 6.22? That version didnt have the option, by default, to say No, so if you accidently typed del *.* in c:\ instead of a:\ you lost all your root files. Not good if you hadnt made a duplicate root directory. The y/n option was put into DOS 7 to help prevent that happening. I should just accept it and be happy. |
