| 85843 | 2002-10-03 22:25:00 | The icon that used to appear in the tray to indicate that I am connected to the net (2 flashing computers linked) has disappeared. Am connected, Just no icon. Any ideas on how to get it back would be much appreciated. |

There should be an option in your dial-up properties (maybe your connection settings for your ISP) to display the tray icon when connected. Right click on your connection, and select "Properties" and see if you can find an option "Display icon when connected" or similar. In Win XP this option is on the "General" tab - labelled "Show icon in notification area when connected". HTH Mike. |

| 85846 | 2002-10-03 23:11:00 | I think you'll have to change the properties for the actual connection (eg Xtra connection), rather than just the dial-up properties. I think if you open the Dial Up Networking window, right-click on Xtra (or whatever ISP you use) and choose properties, and have a look through there. HTH Mike. |
