| 86346 | 2002-10-05 10:34:00 | Good question :) You know how you get junk mail in your letterbox every day - some that you want, but usually most you don't want. Well spam is like that, but it arrives from places all around the world in your email every day (many many times a day for some people) and usually, like 99.9999999999% of the time you don't want it, and you just can't get it to stop. They mass mail people, not just send one email to you, and it just fills up your email box. Hope this makes sense to you :) Mike. |

I have only had my computer for 3 weeks and before that I basically knew nothing apart from how to do e-mail. My 6year old son knows more than me. It is great to have you all to throw questions at and know that so many of you are so willing to help. |
