If not, you need to remove the ticks in startup from "Microsoft Works Portfolio" and "Microsoft Works update detection". It is getting a bit confusing with what stage you are up to. Adding more RAM would not be a bad idea anyway with ME and the 128MB you currently have. I doubled my RAM earlier this year due to a lot of unspecific problems I was having, and this seemed to fix whatever was going on. RAM is not that expensive and if you are willing enough you can install it yourself. Jen |
