Of what significance to the murder trial was the pending judgement on another matter? None. The trial was for the murder of Scott Guy. Just like those coppers who were already serving time for rape, aye bro? The ones who were time and again acquitted? Where we only had some justice after someone broke the suppression orders? There would be very few people who weren't repulsed by news of the killing of 19 defenseless animals along with the other senseless acts. The impact on the jury to learn of that appalling and abhorrent behaviour of McDonald and his co-offender may arguably have helped create a mind set in the jurors' minds of guilt right from the start of the proceedings. Few people would have been able to keep an open mind to the matter in hand with the conditioning that that knowledge would have created. Clearly, being an animal killing psychopath isn't relevant to murder? There is a pattern here, a sick man doing sick things. Who knows, he got away with murder this time, maybe he'll go after the people who testified against him... |
