Having owned an ex-showjumper horse myself, I can tell you the horse is perfectly capable of doing well even when ridden by a complete novice who allows the horse to be in charge. +1 Should be the horse that gets the medal. Definitely one sport where the main skill required is the acquisition of rich parents, preferably very rich parents. |

Yes and no. There still has to be some control and skill by the rider - just like Motorbike racing for example. I know the horse has a mind of it's own and a bike doesn't but I'm saying just because you have the nicer bike doesn't mean you have the skill to ride it. Far as I can remember Mark Todd has always been a good rider... |
