Agreed. The current RUC system is a big rip off. No one in their rite mind will buy a diesel vehicle of any sorts these days.. So much for good fuel economy. My Mazda Bounty now cost $650 / year to register and heavens know how much for the next lot of RUC will cost..

Not quite sure what has happened here but for a while now I have seen no benefit in using a diesel.

trucks and busses don't have much choice and as a bus owner nor does Prefect unfortunately

Well you could refit it with a 460 blig block petrol, should have enough grunt, not sure it would be very economical
