| 86565 | 2002-10-06 08:18:00 | I want to increase the displayed size of an Access Datasheet (1) to display/show all columns without scrolling, and (2) so that the datasheet fills or near fills the available screen width (on a 17" VDU set at 1024 x 768). At present the datasheet (a cashbook transactions input screen) only fills about 25% of the screen, and this seems to be some sort of default, because the cashbook transactions datasheet view in the Access General Ledger sample database is the same size, and so is the cashbook screen in the Acclaim Access-based NZ cashbook program. I have been unable to find a Help topic that mentions re-sizing datasheet display size, despite having searched Access help, several 3rd party manuals, and MS ON-line help. All suggestions gratefully received! |

You could also amend the caption (name of columns) for each field in the table with shorter text to fit things in. I think you will be better off with a form though as you can change the font size and fit much more data in plus is more user friendly for input. hth Parry |
