I have a laptop with I hook up to my home network to print. My questions is how do I setup the network printer on my laptop to store the printing jobs until I reconnent to the network. At the moment I get an error message saying that the printer is not available. Before I installed the network printer, I could hit print and it would store the printer job until I hooked up the printer to the laptop, this requires unplugging the printer from the desktop. Not something I want to do everytime.
Any help would be great. |

You could try going to Settings Printers. There is an option to Pause Printing which could possibly do what you require. Try it out and repost here whether it works. |

If you set the printer attributes to "print after the job is finished", I think that you will find that the printer job is put into the spool queue, and will stay there. Just click "OK" on the error message. If you are connected when you next boot up the laptop, it will start printing when it sees that the printer is available. If you connect while still running, you can probably right click on the printer's icon, and "restart" it. |
