| 86934 | 2002-10-07 21:10:00 | I've installed Works 6 and now on my desktop I have an icon or task launcher,a small box with four coloured buttons in it that I can't seem to get rid of or delete.I'm sure there is a simple solution.Thanks. Max. | Maxx (1406) | ||

The obvious places are in the Start menu's Startup folder which I assume you've looked in. Also in msconfig's Startup tab. Have you tried looking in Works' Tools options for something that specifies the task launcher to load when Windows starts up? Running out of ideas now but I would have thought the last suggestion would be the one to do it. You might have to look a bit harder? |

This gets it off the desktop, you can still access the program via Microsoft Works > Programs > Works Portfolio Jen |
