86763 2002-10-07 06:59:00 I have a .pdf file that is in German and I wondered if I would be able to translate the file to English.

The only translators I have found so far will translate about 150 words at a time, but as this file is quite large cutting and pasting and translating that way would take too long.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

You could try the NZ Translation Centre NZTC (http://www.nztranslation.co.nz/) for help.

86765 2002-10-07 07:39:00 Yep that would do it but it looks pritty expensive as the file is 774 pages.
Is there anything free or cheaper??

86766 2002-10-07 07:45:00 Well, I had a 10 second look, and tried this (http://ets.freetranslation.com:5081/) one out.

It took a 1000 word document, as I cant read the output language I can only assume its right.

Do the search engines not work on your PC??
