86713 2002-10-07 19:44:00 Sal, I'm not using Apache :) I'm still using IIS - the PHP installer installed itself for IIS and is working.

I didn't see the need to have Apache running as well as IIS (I need IIS for some other software I run - it requires IIS to run, even though it doesn't really use it... well not when I use it; I haven't got into that side of things in that program yet).

When I get a faster machine I'll install Oracle back on, which includes Apache and mySQL, and have a play with that. But at the moment my machine is just too slow for Oracle.

Mike.

PS Go Oracle! Win the Luis Vuitton!

Microsoft Visual Studio .Net (version 7). Nope Apache just doesn't cut it :) it needs IIS for the ASP etc. parts of it (I'm not using it for that yet, but won't install without IIS).

Well like I said, I'm not using it for ASP - I'm using it for the Visual C++, Visual Basic, Visual C# parts of it :)

That's a little smaller than the 1.7Gb that Visual Studio takes up :D
