2002-10-08 23:48:00 | i have used it for quite a while and have got no worries about illegal copies as i just download mp3s....my son has downloaded some software and i'm not too sure about that as it may have viruses in it ...I only use kazaa lite though as the full program has spyware imbeded in it(so i have been told )i suppose we could be using other peer to peer sharing programs but it think they are all much of a muchness. cheers Warren

2002-10-09 00:07:00 | Have been using Kazaa Lite for downloading music over the past few weeks with no problems so far (touchwood). Personally I have found it easier to use than other P2P programs, apart from Satellite.

Umm . . . . are you saying its all right to download pirate copies of music tracks? copying music and sharing of same is illegal in most cases unless the artist has released the track as public domain . You are brave, publishing you details in your profile and admitting to that as well! |

2002-10-09 00:53:00 | i sorta think it doesnt matter if u admit it or not.. coz if one person gets arrested..then everyone will lol..coz i am sure everyone has downloaded something..like music, software... just like with the tobacco lawsuits..one person made one..now alot of people are...so..if that happens with this..it wont really surprise me but..i'l be doing a really fast 10,000 metre run lol..

2002-10-09 03:38:00 | I use Kazaa all the time, have not bothered with Kazaalite as, quite frankly, spyware does not bother me . I find it an excellant source of files which can all be downloaded basically as fast as your modem can handle . Have tried various other p2p, ie winmx, morpheus, napster etc etc and this is the best i've used . Veale

2002-10-09 03:50:00 | I have used by Kazaa "heavy" and Kazaa Lite. Quite frankly, I think I got more downloads with the spyware version, than I do with Lite. At the moment, I seem to have a whole stack of stuff sitting there waiting and nothing going on. Godfather, I doubt if any Joe Public will get busted for downloading MP3s. I think the record companies will go for commercial downloaders and try and knock out the servers..... BALDY:-)

2002-10-09 05:36:00 | Grandson loaded Kazaa on their family computer and then said it appeard to run slower, run Adaware and found 127 pieces of spyware. Understand Kazaa will not run without some of the spyware. | FrankS (257) | |
2002-10-09 05:45:00 | Hell Godfather Maybe i should not have said that ... I think i might have to lock the door now and get the dog out for when the piracy police arrive i might even have to delete all my illigal mp3s ...............not But in saying that i think i will be a bit more careful though

2002-10-09 06:42:00 | I think Kazaa is currently the best. WinMX has improved but is worse than useless when iy comes to restarting a download, i.e. you get fed uo waiting and come back another day. If the full version spyware bothers you there is a file called cd_lint.zip which fools the full version into thinking it's spying !!!! Crunn
