| 87213 | 2002-10-08 08:09:00 | Hi everyone - I am using Windows ME. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to turn the password off at the beginning of windows startup? When I turn the computer on it dings a tune then comes up with a password box. I just click cancel and it clears and then finishes loading. It never used to do this. I have had a look in the control panel in the password box but can't seem to find it. Any ideas? |

Anyway quite by accident I had an illigel shutdown and when I restarted the computer, had do go through a scan disk check and after that the problem was cured. Cheers merlin-nz ;-) |
