87174 2002-10-08 06:34:00 I am wanting to Burn some of my audio tracks that I have in Windows Media Player using Nero.

When in Nero I browse to Win Media Player but cant find my list of songs.

What am I doing wrong, something obvious I bet!

Thanks
Donald M

87175 2002-10-08 06:43:00 Hi Donald,

Your music should be kept in a folder called "My Music"; a subfolder of "My Documents". Browse to My Documents and have a look for a folder called My Music, and your music should be in there.

At least that's how it is in Windows XP - I'm fairly sure it's the same with Win 98/ME.

87176 2002-10-08 06:45:00 Yes, you are correct Mike.

The list of songs in WMP is a link to the My Music folder

87180 2002-10-08 07:29:00 Are you meaning your WMP playlists?

I think you will find that you will have to do it all from your My Music folder, as said before.

WMP is a "read-me" only (if I can put it like that)

Why don't you use the CDBurner software that comes with WMP9?

87181 2002-10-08 07:32:00 Donald,

You'd need to convert from WMA to MP3 to use Nero to burn them. But WMP has a built in burner so if you want to burn WMA then use the one built in to WMP.

87182 2002-10-08 07:44:00 I have tried going through Wmp by doing the following:
File/Copy to CD.
It asks which play list I want to select,
I chose the list.
Click OK
Then a window comes up with
Adaptec Easy CD creator Plug in
No Cd Recording devices found on your system

The CD writer was only installed today by PC Company, it shows up as E: on my computer. Do you think it is installed properly?
