According to Logitech_Support (www.logitech.com) ... If you are using QuickCam 5.6x or higher and(/or) ImageStudio 7.0 and higher then it should work under WinXP. If you are running s/w versions lower than these then you need to update. The updates are available from Logitech Updates (www.logitech.com).

Cheers, Babe.

87169 2005-02-07 05:59:00 I have recently bought an XP machine and when I tried to load my Logitech Quickcam (5.3.2) I received a message saying I would need to upgrade. I followed the link that Babe Ruth suggested and found the Logitech site to be rather obscure. Dumb question - Do I download the full 33 meg file for Version: 8.4.1 and install it instead of using the CD that originally came with the camera? The CD does not include software for use with XP. allcamp (1882)
87170 2005-02-07 06:15:00 If the problem is just the software, not the drivers that come with this cam you could try using amcap, virtual dub (google these) or even windows movie maker. the highlander (245)
