2002-10-08 23:46:00 The driver(s) are most probably hiding on the modem CDROM somewhere. Sometimes the location can be a bit obsure on these CDs and you have to specify exactly the directory to go to. Terry Porritt (14)
2002-10-09 00:28:00 The alternative is the Internet.;-) From "rockwell 56k HCF speakerphone driver" google.co.nz gave quite a few matches. Excluding those people asking, these links on the first page of resulyts look worth following: "56k Data page", "DRIVER DOWNLOAD", Zoltrix Rockwell ...". Graham L (2)
2002-10-09 00:36:00 you shouldn't need to look on the net or even on a cd rom as its still on the pc. just a matter of showing windows where it is (which can be tough if you don't know what it is called) tweak'e (174)
2002-10-09 00:44:00 Well, one of those links from google gives a list of the file names ... Graham L (2)
2002-10-10 02:51:00 Sorry but which CD? I couldn't find it on the Modem software CD using Explorer (showing all files). taylor (2136)
2002-10-10 03:08:00 It might be quickest to go to the Internet :D Graham L (2)
2002-10-10 06:25:00 Some winmodems can be a [CENSORED] to install at the best of times.

Browse your CD (again) for a folder with the same model number as the modem. Inside the folder there will either be an executable to run on a *.ini file that you can right click on to install.

If you are not using (or if the modem doesn't support) voice features, then don't worry about it. It doesn't affect the data side of things.

2002-10-10 10:19:00 From experience and frustration I know that only win ME and above contain the necessary drivers. You'll have to check the web or your retailer veterannz (960)
