| 87218 | 2002-10-08 08:33:00 | is this a(n) universal problem? - when copying /pasting from anything to email, the text lines are always broken, like the line doesn't end at the end of the page - am using netscape navigator/communicator - is there a setting somewhere? | jayal (1291) | ||
| 87219 | 2002-10-08 09:04:00 | It's due to setting in OE so I presume Communicator is the same. In OE it's found in Tools>Options>Send>Mail Sending Format (HTML or text box)>Automatically wrap text at n characters..... It is probably somewhere similar in Communicator but as I don't use that I wouldn't know for sure. |

| 87220 | 2002-10-08 10:01:00 | Selecting wrap text at xx characters is not the problem, it should copy and paste correctly regardless of the text wrap. This seems to be a problem with Netscape when doing a copy and paste into a NS mail message, Sometimes it is OK other time the format is not retained. I find if I copy from Internet Explorer and paste into NS mail it is OK and also it is OK when doing a copy from NS and paste into Outlook Express. I usually have both browsers open as some site are better on one than the other so it is no problem |
