87061 2002-10-08 01:23:00 Hi team

Anyone tell me if a DFI-NB76-EC is a reasonable choice?

For a 2 GHz P4, with a dual head MX-460 graphics card (not a gaming machine)

87062 2002-10-08 01:33:00 Apparently it does alright, I read a review not too long ago no it, But as far as I remember, they said you'd be better off with RDRAM, not DDR. Chilling_Silence (9)

HUH? I remember reading that rd ram is like double the price of ddr, with only a marginal gain in performance?

87064 2002-10-08 06:51:00 to get the full speed of the 533 bus P4's you really need RDRAM but it costs heaps more $$$

DFI are normally quite good stable boards. not usually designed for overclocking (except for a few new models).
