2002-10-08 01:07:00 I have just had to reinsert my internal modem card (Rockwell HCF 56K Speakerphone PCI) and my system is now detecting as new hardware a "Wave Device for voice modem". I do not seem to have any drivers for this device on the CD-ROM that came with the modem and Rockwell don't seem to be around any more, so what is this new device and where might I look for drivers if it is necessary? taylor (2136)
2002-10-08 01:09:00 What Windows version do you have, martin? Windows should have a driver installed for it already and should offer to install the default driver for it (unless your computer is a really old one :))

2002-10-08 01:09:00 This is usually found in the same directory as the other driver files for the modem, have you tried pointing windows there? SaAB (1292)
2002-10-08 01:14:00 point it to your sound card drivers. tweak'e (174)

2002-10-08 03:09:00 Rockwell was bought out by Conexant - there are drivers on the Conexant website.

2002-10-08 11:13:00 I have checked my sound card CD-ROM, Modem CD-ROM and Win 98 SE disc for this file without success. What am I missing? taylor (2136)
2002-10-08 11:15:00 I'm running Win 98 SE on a PII-333 system. Unfortunately windows can't seem to find a driver anywhere! taylor (2136)
2002-10-08 11:16:00 No joy there I'm afraid. taylor (2136)
2002-10-08 23:11:00 try going to Conexant and searching that site for the driver.
