| 87686 | 2002-10-10 03:28:00 | I have two net worked computers at home. One has NAV. The other does not........unfortunately.....e-mail's were downloaded to the unprotected computer...one very dubious..and looks like a virus has been unleashed. ( probably bugbear.) Before I try...is there any reason why I can't scan and kill the virus using the NAV on this PC through a mapped drive to the networked Dirty Infected PC. I just don't want to infect this one whilst cleaning the other one. CAN I ?? |

As long as you dont run the files, yoyu should be okay, unless its a virus that attacks network drives/printers. Cheers Chilling_Silence |
