87472 2002-10-09 09:32:00 hey guys,
well I have just installed my second harddrive, done the HDD detection in Bios, yet windows does not pick it up. What the hell is going on?

I thought this was supposed to be straight forward. the Bios picks it up sweet. It is a 20 gig harddrive I am installing, I currenty have a 15 gig. I am also running win 98. Any help appreciated.

Have you fdisk'd and formatted the new harddrive?

Babe.

87474 2002-10-09 09:37:00 Turn off your PC and then check your jumper setting of your new HDD. Make sure that it is set to slave and your old (existing) HDD is set to Master.

Re-boot your PC.

good luck
