| 87911 | 2002-10-10 22:18:00 | Hi All, Recently I updated my Windows 98SE system with Zone Alarm 3.1. After doing this update ZA kept trying to dial up a connection at every start up. I tried removing ZA from my start up connections, then I started getting a message that ZA would not allow me to make an internet connection. In frustration, I decided to remove ZA, using the add/remove function in Control Panel. Now every time I try open up Windows I get a message which reads as follows:- " Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application. The Windows registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists. If you deleted this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstall or setup program. If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file. vsdata95.vxd " I dont really understand whats going on here. Any info' would be appreciated. |
