| 87882 | 2002-10-10 21:38:00 | I'm just wondering if anyone here has got a cool as pc case from www.coolcases.co.nz or www.pccasegear.com as I am sorta looking at getting a flasher case than the dull blue/white packard bell one that i have at the mo.. but..just wanna know..is it worth it?.. |

| 87883 | 2002-10-11 06:33:00 | I haven't used them myself. But I do know people that have used Cool Cases and found them to be good. I really like the Enermax\Chieftec\OCNZ\Darkrider range of cases. Also the Lian Li are nice. |

| 87884 | 2002-10-11 08:28:00 | Just watch this one... Are you planning on removing the motherboard from your Packard Bell case and putting it in a different case? If so then forget it IMHO. I suppose you want to know why. :-) Packard Bell seem to have this habit of sawing off certain pins on the Motherboard so that you can't change the case. When you have this motherboard you will find the new case will NOT have connections for the Hard drive LED, Reset, power on etc. The case you have ( if you look at the front ) has a numer of wire which connect to a header on the motherboard. New cases ( like the Icute I use ) don't use the same header. |
