87778 2002-10-10 06:27:00 I can leave my IBM on all day and the mouse is as good as gold. Leave my IBM Thinkpad on for even a few hours and the mouse "freezes", and I cannot get it to move. Or, I just can't find it. I shut down the computer, and have to start all over.

How do I make that mouse behave, please?

87779 2002-10-10 06:30:00 Something to do with hibernation I think. Some mouses don't hibernate very well... SoniKalien (792)

My MS wireless intelli mouse was prone to freeze.

87781 2002-10-10 19:29:00 It's the little red knob in the middle of my IBM laptop. Dr. Sam McGredy (2205)
87782 2002-10-10 20:43:00 Little red knobs in the middle of a laptop are a major reason to learn keyboard commands rather than relying on a mouse. Keyboard commands are often faster than mice anyway.

However, it could be a faulty driver. You could check out the IBM driver download site and see if they have something there:
