| 88448 | 2002-10-11 23:29:00 | My microphone is not working. I have tryed other mics and made sure it is not muted. In the control panel I went to the sound & audio devices in the voice tab the settings seem normal but the advance icon is blured out so I can not click onto it. On the audio tab I clicked onto the sound recording the defult is set to VIA AC'97 Audio wave. When I do the hard ware voice recording test an error comes up saying (the voice test has encounters an error message error code 0x80004005.) A windows error message also comes up saying (window error DpvSetup.exe) This is a pain not being able to use it as I have a son overseas we talk to. I have Windows XP Pro. | 88449 | 2002-10-12 01:41:00 | i had a prob like yors as well, my mic wouldnt work unless i test my hard ware, and that only makes my mic work to the next restart!!!! try reinstalling yor drivers or somthin, or double click on the speaker tray icon and go to properties and make sure that all critical check boxs are click TiM©:*) |
