| 88404 | 2002-10-11 20:57:00 | I tried Knoppix on the CD, and it loads fine, can use the desktop, etc, except that it doesn't autodetect the nic, so I can't connect to the network or internet etc. Where can I tell Knoppix what it needs to know, and what do I tell it? I'm connecting via CNET PRO 200 nic to a surecom switch, to a Dynalink RTA020 (ADSL), all of which works fine in XP. | BobSide (2219) | ||
| 88405 | 2002-10-12 02:48:00 | I suspect that ADSL is a bit beyond the sort of thing that Knoppix will handle. Do "dmesg" in a terminal window to see if it actually found the NIC. Have a read in the 'Knoppix" documentation... | Graham L (2) | ||
