I am not too happy with the quality of the components in my machine, but I didn't know any better when I bought it. Learnt very fast in the first few months that the price was low for a reason. G P |

2002-10-12 11:28:00 | mmm...just checking a few things. kt133 only has a 200fsb. if your mobo has a 133 settings then i suggest you try it and see what happens. check the cpu speed on boot up. | tweak'e (174) | |
2002-10-12 11:53:00 | I have the most recent BIOS version, although I just wish I knew where I got it from. The one on the chaintech website is older than the one I have!! I switched the FSB setting, and booted to no display (disk activity etc). Put it back, and no probs. G P

2002-10-12 12:22:00 | well at 133 * 12 if that's what you tried. It would have been trying to boot at 1596MHz. hmmmm wonder if your chip is pre-unlocked :)

2002-10-12 12:27:00 | No - multiplier was on default in the BIOS, so should have set itself. Funny that the graphics card played up, or was it just the BIOS not loading??? Oh, well, I really don't care that much. Thanks alot to both of you. G P
