| 88533 | 2002-10-16 03:41:00 | Mr A Just a thought, have you cleaned your mouse recently? A mouse can pick up all sorts of crud and gets on the rollers inside. This can have all sorts of unexpected results. With most mice there is a flat collar around the ball. turn that to release the ball and VERY CAREFULLY clean the round rods that the ball runs on, so they are clean and shiney again, reassemble and go for a test roll. Even if it dosn't work its a good idea to clean them every now and then anyway, as they become harder and harder to clean as the crud thickens. (must stop now just remembered I have some cleaning to do!!) |
