88743 2002-10-13 06:25:00 Try to add more ram. I have a III 450 chaintech CT-6ATA2 mb can only get to use 128m ram. Has three slots I have 3 x 128mb PC133. Bios sees ram on start up, running some programs Norton SystemWorks reports low on ram. Using NSW to check ram under Norton Diagnostics Memory check, with any 128mb in any slot no problems, fit two in any slots get fail at address 247025664, all three in get fail at 176271360.
Please help

88745 2002-10-13 07:43:00 What windows are you using?

Press Winkey+Pause and see if all the RAM is identified there (not sure if older Win versions display RAM total there, but I think they do).

Also a program like Sisoft Sandra will tell you if your RAM is working - I guess it probably is working fine.
