| 88846 | 2002-10-14 02:06:00 | mmm i mite be the only person off here not to have downloaded SP1..i'm not sure if i should..coz i'm hearing stuff..it stuffes up the shutdown from start..like said here..and other things lol...mmmm i dont know if i should..maybe i could wait and see if my computer dies slowly by some bad bad url.. i only go into "well known websites" like nzoom.com yahoo...checking polytechn email online...cnn.com icq.com.. or are they some sites that could make u go into bad urls?...coz i knwo thats one thing that gets fixed on SP1.......... |

| 88847 | 2002-10-14 02:23:00 | Chris, SP1 is a 130mb download - I think it fixes a LOT more than just that ;) I've had absolutely no problems with SP1 - and I've installed it on several systems now. Saves you from having to do all the windowsupdates, as they're all included in there too. Mike. |

| 88851 | 2002-10-14 03:50:00 | leaving interenet on overnite is banned for me to do :-( mum wants phone free after i go to bed..maybe i should just not go to bed LOL... there has been a few probs overnite in the past that required phone at times..and its been me that has to do something coz the internet was online lol...so yeah.. what about free sp1 sending out from Microsoft?..we paid big bucks for the system..so there should be free cds...if they have it free online..then why not free cds..i'll happily pay for postage and packagaing..$5..not much dent in my wallet lol..... |
