88768 2002-10-13 08:28:00 Sometime ago PCWorld printed an article on including a graphic on an address label in Word 97. With Christmas just around the corner I wish to include a Christmas graphic on my address labels, sourcing the addresses from a database in Excel. I'd appreciate any advice on how this can be achieved. Thank you.

88769 2002-10-14 07:48:00 Can you be a bit more specific on which part of the process you need help with? It's not really clear just how much you know and there's no point providing instructions that you don't need. :-)

Also, do you still have that article printed in PC World?

88770 2002-10-14 09:36:00 Hi Susan,

Thanks for the interest shown. No I do not still have that particular issue of PC World. My area of difficulty, nay impossibility is in placing a graphic on to the label. Building a database and merging that in to Word is no problems, just inserting a single graphic onto the left hand side of each label with the address printed from there to the right. I am sure that in the original article, the graphic was almost part of a template?? i.e. you did not have to insert it on to each and every label, just once and it appeared on them all. Hope that is some guidance.
Many thanks.

88771 2002-10-14 09:56:00 Well I don't know if this helps - it is for Word 2000/2002, but it might apply for Word 97

88772 2002-10-14 09:59:00 It should be the same as inserting the names and addresses from the database. I have done it a long time back, and just added it to the template. wotz (335)
88773 2002-10-15 08:12:00 Many thanks Jen,

It does not quite get me there, but has me pointed in the right direction.

Cheers.
