| 88775 | 2002-10-13 05:45:00 | First part of your question - I/O card stands for "Input/Output" card - its basically a card (PCI card, like your modem or sound card I guess) for input and output, for example an older type com/serial port could be considered an I/O card etc. Secondly, the type of card will depend on your camcorder. If it has DV output, you'd need something like a video capture card (most likely), but I have heard of some camcorders (not many) that'll transmit via USB, then you'd only need a USB port. But you'll also need the relevant software to record it. Mike. |
